Tart re: site rejection
 

Thanks for the email letting me know my site was not accepted. I do appreciate being notified. The email stated that if there was no additional reason offered it would be for violating the rules. The only one that I can see that may be questionable is the number of links per page. On this sites main page there are three links plus a link to my hub at the bottom of the page. All other pages only have the standard three (including a link to my hub). Is this the reason or something else that I'm not seeing?

Sorry Porn Princess but that page is annoying as hell. I was going to see if I could find why you were rejected but if it was like that when it was being reviewed I understand why it was. Also that would drive surfers away very quickly imo. I dont know if thats java refresh or a gif file but my head hurts now from looking at it for a while lol. Take that out and im guessing you should have no problem getting listed.

Edit: It bothered me not to try and help you so I went back to your site and thru the straining of my eyes I saw that you have 4 out going links on all of your pages because you added a link back to your index/hub. Fix those two things and everything should be good.

Id say the combination of the 4 links, pretty bad thumbs (grainy) and way overused content would probably be the reaons - I remember using that content 3 years ago LOL - of course the thumb program looks like its set at about 85% quality - which is pixilating everything

I sent you an email (couldn't get to the board earlier but got a boardtracker notice ;) ) I declined because of the extra outgoing links... at that point I didn't go further into the site. The design although loud, wouldn't have gotten you rejected.

The thumbs and images could have been a rejection reason, but as I mentioned I didn't get that far. Being a smaller list, overused content is less of a factor for me.. clarity and quality would have been looked at more then that.

Thanks so much for taking the time to look at this for me. Trial and error...trial and error..lol

I'm getting a new thumbnail creator today because the one I'm using isn't giving me the quality of thumbs I want.

This will be a site that definetly falls into the mantra of build, submit and FORGET!! :)|jester|

give irfanview a try if you don't already have photoshop for making thumbs.
