couple of new pics of the puppies

7/10 made it so far, I'll be taking them to their first Vet visit Friday afternoon

then it'll just be 1 or 2 weeks until my little babies leave me :-(

It's hard to tell them apart, but there seems to be one black pup which is more outgoing than all the others - he consistently has his feet up on the side of the enclosure. However, it could be a different pup each time - I don't know hehe :)

But I'm guessing that your favourite has to be the golden one who hogs the camera in two shots.

Takes me back 10 years with my collies. Great and sad times all rolled into one (6/10 survived).

I found it hard to let mine go - I imagine you'll feel the same.


My avatar is a night-time pic of one of my dogs. Twiggy was born nearly 14 years ago, one of three that we kept from that litter. I'm a sentimental mush when it comes to my dogs.

the mother was so young me and my brother were taking turns hand feeding them, every 4 or so hours.

OMG - those are SO cute! *whines* I WANT ONE!

My puppy baby is almost 2 and hit 65 pounds awhile back... he still tries to be a lap dog, but he's so big now. I miss having an itty bitty puppy around. *sigh*

I'm thinking maybe some kind of tiny toy dog - you know, the ones you can keep in a hamster cage (joking!) - just something that will stay itty bitty.

they are Labs

2 yellow, 4 black and one chocolate

Thats what I thought, but wasn't sure. They are good looking dogs. My wife has always wanted a lab. My next dogs wont be lap dogs like we have now. I love my dogs, but little dogs are just tougher to train then bigger dogs, and they yipp a lot :)

Labs are so smart too!

We already have a 145 lb spoiledrottenwieller and a toocute 11lb minipin. They are like Dr Evil and minime but I've always wanted a lab.

Your puppies are absolutely precious!

There's nothing cuter than a Christmas puppy falling asleep on your lap with their big round belly rising and falling with every breath they take. It cracks me up to watch them having their cute little doggie dreams about chasing kitties and seeing their paws move and them making those cute little noises.

I've had dogs all of my life, various breeds. Labs are great companion dogs as well as protectors too, which I'm sure you already know. I hope you find really good homes for them. When I have had to place dogs, I screened people like they were trying to get into the FBI or something like that. I didn't want my dogs to go to just Anybody!

Chocolates are hard to come by with that color being a recessive gene and all. Are you going to keep any of them?

I had talked myself into keeping the Chocolate Runt..but it passed after about a week :-(

we have 2 blacks now..so thats quite enough anyway
