cat recip Alternative ?

Ok... So I used a script I found to make a se for xstash.

It is actually on a different domain but I crawl xstash with it and I use it for the search boxs at xstash.

Anyway I have set up a recip to it that I am willing to use as an alternative to my cat recips.
But you do have to put a term in it that relates to the site you are submitting.

Here is where I currently have the details:
http://xstash.com/sexpack/cfrecip.html

Now what I am wondering is if any of the linklists would have a problem with people using this recip for xstash.com?

Note that there is no way to submit to the se on its own but sites listed will get indexed off xstash.

Have you tried this in Firefox? I went to your new recip page in Firefox, cause that's what I use, and if I click in the white text area to put in my own search term, it automatically goes to http://www.cutefiles.com/ without letting me type in any text. So I tried it with IE and works fine. I hope it's just my settings doing this.

no closing tag on the "Search Cute Files" line...

where it is on the "Adult Search Engine" line is not correct as such..

Depending on the results you return, it might be considered a sponsor link (if it returns sponsor sites).

It is even a little blind... I dunno.

Useless Warrior - I think what Dave was talking about caused your problem with firefox. I believe I fixed it by giving both the top and bottom link their own anchor.

What part do you consider blind Raw Alex? The text link or the search box? Or was you talking about how it behaved with firefox before I changed it?

I indexed all of xstash and bits of my other domains so it does have sponsor links in it. But they will be related to the search term used and in with the other results.

So, In its corrected form would you accept it as a recip?

I'm not liking the idea of these new recips...again, it looks great and is a great idea, but I could see it as being highly unfair to other link lists on the page.

amadman: I think that considering I have no idea what the end results are going to be (if you will list something, if you will redirect certain words, if you will console hell people), it is blind.

I also think it isn't fair to the other link sites that have only a return link, and your list would have an interactive "thing".

Imagine if you will a page of 3 X 3 search box return links...

Hmmm

Bummer... So now I don't know what I should do.

Should I drop the whole idea?

I wish I had some more input from other linklist owners. |waves|

I currently have a note that says I don't know how other linklist owners will feel about it
but I was hoping to be able to remove that because I think it is keeping people from using the recip.|sad|

Any other comments (good, bad, impartial) would be much appreciated.

I can not bring myself to dump this with the little input that I have
received so far.

Since there only seems to be a couple people opposed to the
idea at this point I have decided to keep it with the notice.

If your linklist will not accept the recip then please let me know
here so I can make note of it to my submitters. Thanks!
