What is best?
 

I have to do something with my One Verify avs pages because they're stopping their program. Some of my sites are listed in the dmoz. Some have a little page rank.
1) I could delete them and have them redirect to the root domain.
2) I could put up a full page add.
3) I could delete the sign up page and link the index page to the sex key or pro adult script.
4) Do something else.
Right now I feel like just deleting them. I got enough work. I don't want to screw up the root domains PR though, if that's even a question.
What would you do?

I would suggest you just change the sign in page to a warning page and put about 10 - 15 images in there then submit them to about 80 link list. Then seo the warning page since your already in dmoz with them you should get a decent ranking for one of the smaller keywords.

I'd suggest converting them to a different AVS or just change them to free sites or build new free sites using the same theme if they are too big for normal free sites as far as the amount of pics goes.

Thanks for the advice. I think the ones with no PR i'll just delete and the others I'll swith to a different avs.
Man, I am tired of messing with AVS. Alway got to do something, change the script, change the sales pitch on the sign up page.

I've had the same dilemma. I think I'm just going to delete mine. I should have learned my lesson with the AVS's when Adult Check screwed me (and 1000's of other webmasters!) out of a ton of money.

I forgot that one. I got screwed by AC too.

Recently I was reconsidering my decision to pull out of AVS when the Visa shit came down. Now I'm glad I didn't. ;)

It's really too bad - I think the model is quite sound and even preferable to what we have...but, well...you know.

That's ok. Just thought I'd toss that out there. I've been using ProAdult for a while and it probably does the best for me these days (as far as AVS's go). Nothing to get excited about but it makes me a few dollars. :-)

Try a different AVS|lightsabe

You could just swap the joinpage to a tourlink of a sponsor's site that matches the niche...

Depending on how much content is in them I would turn them into free sites.
