Steelers vs Bills
 

Hey All you football fans!

As you may or may not know, I am a Steeler fan. What you don't know, is that the Bills are my 2nd favorite team! :)

This weekend should be a doozy! I for one want the best team that day to win. And I hope its the Bills and I will tell you why.

#1 Ever since the home game vs the Jets, the Bills have been on fire!
#2 Coming back from such a horrible start and basically needing the win and a Broncos loss, I hope they do it.
#3 Lastly, its been a while since my two favorite teams have been in the playoffs at the same time!

P.S. I hope that the Ravens rot in hell from now till eternity. Sacking my boy BR#7 was dirty and cheap - just like the team effort from the Ravens. Assholes.

Yes that should be a good game. Not often do you think a 14-1 team might lose but I'd say the Bills should be favored here.

The games at 1pm right? My plane leaves for Vegas at 5pm so I'm gonna miss the ending I think. :(

The Bills have been on fire since they beat up Arizona on Halloween :D

I'm hoping Pittsburgh just rolls over & let's us walk all over them - they don't need the win & probably don't want to risk too many injuries.

Bills need to win & have either the Jets or Broncos loose. I'm praying to |buddy| daily :D

OK - they've been on fire since the beat the Rams on Nov 21st :D

According to NFL.com, the Bills have a respectable 6 game winning streak happening, while the Steelers have won 13 in a row.

This is a nothing game for the Steelers. This is the Bills playoffs, provided the Broncos lose. I don't think the Jets would get knocked out - they hold a tie breaker versus the Bills, I think.

I still hate the Ravens though.

I hope the Bills make the playoffs

the surprising team for me this year has Been the Chargers

I still don't think they are on a level as the Patriots, Colts or Steelers 2 of those 3 will be in the AFC finals which, because the NFC is so bad this year will be the real superbowl,

Philly had a punchers chance in a championship heavyweight bout with Terrell Owens and they should still be good enough to represent the NFC

The Bills hold the tie-breaker on the Jets - believe me, I know :D

Chargers are very surprising as well - the real playoffs will be the final 3 AFC Playoff games to determine who goes to the Super Bowl.

The NFC is like Torn :D

I'm pulling for the Bills too. for several reasons.

1) you would hope that the team that held your team to 17 total yards at least makes the playoffs |couch|

2)Buffalo supported us when modell (may he rot in hell) moved the team. Even had a 'day' for us.

3)My favorite team is the Browns. My second favorite team is whoever is playing the stealers |lightsabe (unless it's baltimore.... then I hope they both lose |pissleft| )

(no offense pornrex... I have lots of family in and around pittsburgh)

None taken bud. Hell, I am originally from Roslindale, Ma but I'm not a big Patriot fan, per say.

I would hate to see the Bills win and then the Jets win too and the Broncos as well. That would suck big time. One of the Broncos or Jets HAS to lose. So lets break it down:

Colts @ Broncos: Manning will want to put an exclamation point to his stellar season. I'll take the Colts here by at least a td.

Steelers @ Bills: Steelers have clinched, BR#7 and a few others are a little banged up so for arguments sake, I'll pick the Bills because their playoff berth is on the line.

Jets @ Rams: the Rams are desperate. Bulger will play like a man possessed. So to will the Jets, because they don't want to leave nothing to chance. Too close to call but I'll have to take the Rams simply because they'll want it more.


Anyhow, as a huge Steeler fan (and one since 1975) I would love to see the Steelers in the "big dance" (and win it of course!!) just as I am sure all of you would love to see your favorite team there too. But anything can happen on any given day and time.

To assume that the AFC would win the Super Bowl is a tad bit presumptuous. There a few teams in the "weak" NFC that are catching fire right now.

Irregardless, this is gonna be a great playoff!

Yeah I guess so

but the AFC has been the far superior league this year

the AFC East could have 3 10 game plus winners out of the 4 (Bills, Pats, Jets) then the year the Chargers have had and the Colts, I would put money on it that the winner of the SB would be out of the AFC...but upsets do happen

AFC will probably have a 10-6 team that doesn't make it to the playoffs & the NFC will have at least one 8-8 team in there, which really sucks.

The Steelers will rest their starters and probably lose this one to the Bills. The Bills winning streak is not as impressive as some think. They beat up on subpar teams. They have only beat one or two teams this year with winning records. They'll probably end up in the playoffs and get bounced the first round. |couch|

So the Bills are sorta like your Fantasy Football Team?

Im hoping the Steelers win for more reasons than 1, I would like to see them extend their winning streak, plus they are palying some excellent football and have been all season.

And ofcourse Reason #2, Im a Jets fan and dont want to see them get into anything sticky in regards to getting into the playoffs. So Let's go Steelers... Sorry Greenguy.

Well, at least they gave us some hope after the 1-5 start :)

The Bills just made one too many mistakes and the Steelers capitalized. :( It was an exciting game though!

If the Bills can keep this team together and keep the spirit, then next year should be a good one |bananna|

Bills blew it but they did have a good year considering the start.

A few good off season pickups and things might be looking good for next year.
