No Las Vegas for me this year
 

I've been so looking forward to going to Vegas and meeting everyone, but I guess it wasn't meant to be.
Wife has to have a hysterectomy as soon as they get her blood count back up.
and to add to that my shoulder has been giving me trouble for awhile, The driving I did Christmas weekend made it worse, then we had a big storm and I had to tighten my lines up and felt something in it give so I'm scheduled for a MRI and am hoping they can fix it with orthoscopic surgery
The money we put away for Vegas is going to be needed elsewhere She will be out of work for 6 to 8 weeks we have to move off the boat and into an apartment while we recuperate

hope everything is ok pat and my wife had the same thing awhile back and everything went ok and no cancer was found.. they do a check after the parts are removed and I hope the same for your wife..

I'll still be here too due to my long running ban on bathing and social interaction. It's bad enough I have to stand up and walk to the kitchen for another beer. You people expect me to fly to Vegas... Crazy.

I'm so sorry that you won't be able to go. We wish both you and your wife quick returns to good health.

My mom had an emergency hysterectomy a couple years ago. It probably saved her life, and she felt so much better afterwards. In fact, once released from the hospital she didn't even have to take anything stronger than a tylenol for the pain during recovery (and she's not the tough through it type of gal). |flowers|

Thanx Plateman and Porn Princess that's way encouraging. The Doctor told her 6 to 8 weeks no work that seems like a hell of a long recovery. She donated a kidney a couple years ago and only missed 4 weeks of work and we were back on the boat in 5 weeks (times like this I wish they would hurry up and put the floating docks in so we don't have to climb up and down a ladder to get on the boat)

We called Jessica and let her know New Years Eve that Vegas was off (She was more disappointed than me)

Word gets around fast in the red zone we've had calls from 3 different hookers offering to play nurse for us while we mend, after thinking it over we've decided that we will rent a kitchenette in Tijuana while we mend.
I can sell advertising with one arm and get girls pictures for the contests on Tijuana-Tonight better than I can type one handed.

So I guess it's true every cloud does have a silver lining

John we were getting our costumes from a Tijuana costume shop they won't give us our deposit back (no surprise) but they did say we can use the deposit anytime so I guess I'll get to wear that bad ass sombrero next year

Judging by the rain we are getting right now and the news, Vegas is going to be wet through the whole show

This is the first Vegas Internext MadHatter and I are missing in 4 years. Just can't get away this year, too busy. Living in Pahrump now, it isn't just down the street any more either. :(
