I've grown to hate the conventions…
 

Especially if I don't go and I'm trying to work.

My favorite content supplier is closed.

Submits don't get approved as fast.

The board's get really quiet.

Traffic for some odd reason seems to decrease.

So I'm basically at home bored unable to get any real work done. Guess this is payment for me being too lazy to drag my ass out to another convention, I hate traveling.

Still being home able to sleep in my own bed and not gasping for fresh air in some smoke filled room does have its benefits.

Maybe I should do something dreaded like freshen up the ads over at Cleo's Links…

FoxyAngel called me and said that they lost her luggage and she forgot her power supply for her laptop.

Hopefully lots of folks will go to the south Florida one in August. I do miss seeing what has become old friends.

I wouldn't sweat missing this years show, it was probably the worst one I have been to in years. I enjoyed seeing everyone from the board again and hanging out but the show pretty much sucked. (The Extreme Paychecks party ROCKED though! - Thanks to all the EP guys for a great party!)

You could walk the show floor in like 30 minutes it seemed like.

The last day Christena and I blew off the show and did some sight seeing including a helicopter trip to the grand canyon with a champaign lunch and when we got back we went to see the musical Mama Mia which was great. I think this year we will be in Miami as a lot of people say that is a better show for meeting people, it was just too hard to locate people at this show it seems everyone I knew was staying outside of Mandalay Bay.

I heard Extreme Paychecks put on a good party. I wonder how many more times D$ is going to have to apologize for the Players Ball. It seems like a regular thing after every show.

The party was fantastic, the place was huge, there were lines from what I can tell when I went outside but nothing too big and the security handled everything well from what I saw. ICE was a great club to have it in, and I didn't see one person not having a great time there.

The other party that was the night before at Rum Jungle was another mess up I think. For those who got in lucky you, there were so many passes given out you couldn't even get in. We got there about 11pm and the line was horrible so we left (we were told no one was allowed in due to fire restrictions, and we had badges and our name was on the list etc etc.).

This was not the case with the Extreme Fetish Night, the girls were all great, the part was kicking, and everyone had a great time.

I was at players ball 2 years ago at y2k or whatever the name of that club in the venetian was, with ViP passes and we stood in line for like 3 hrs, the bands didn't go on until like 1:30 am, and it seems like they had issues again this year. So what if you can draw the big name rappers, if no one can get in, its pointless. If I was an advertiser at that show I would be pissed.

John, Nate and the rest at EP did a killer job, I cannot say it enough, anyone who didn't hit that party really missed out.

Andy: Met the lovely Christina the 1st night with the MML's but you were deep in discussion across the way..But did get to meet Dr. B. , Hank, Ramster, RawAlex, Raven, and Goddess only knows who else..

Went to the GOTI party tho i hardly qualify as a "girl".. went to a couple of nice suite parties.. the best, in my opinion, was the FTV/DormBucks/RichCash/Nubiles Bash in the Luxor... it was da bomb.. had a really nice dinner with a sponsor i love to promote.. and Closed a few bars down with Betty..

Huge crowds of people pushing their way to get to more free drinks and skinny nubile naked 19 yr olds taint my style.. oh wait.. that was the SUITE party.. LMAO..

oh and did a couple of NICE photoshoots including one of betty flashing all over vegas.. cumming soon to an admin near you.

HAHA, yeah we were all in deep discussion, Christena said she met you and that I converted you to a republican ( just kidding ). Wish I would have run into you again to at least say hi. Sounds like you hit the right parties this year and had a great time.
