phpadsnew problem... yes another one

Been using this great script for some months and it's been working like a charm but just around SP2 it kinda started failing. All of a sudden it stops showing banners and there are NO restrictions on delivery, time, clicks whatever. The place where the banners should be are just empty spaces.
Have anyone seen this problem? A fellow webmaster have the excact same problem and we haven't been able to fix it.

Check and see if the daily cron job which is necessary for maintenance is still working. If that cron job fails to execute, phpadsnew fails to perform.
