Yahoo needs a maid
 

I was looking through the SE terms used to find me this morning and I see that someone searched for 'hunsgallery' on yahoo. http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=hun...b-t&fl=0&x=wrt
Now, that is a gallery I sub'd to the hun three years ago (the first gallery I ever sub'd anywhere). It hasn't existed for at least two years. Since I redirect all of my 404 traffic to the main TGP page, Yahoo seems to either believe it still exists or is just too lazy to remove the URL.

That also tells you how much I suck. Out of two - I'm number two - and I'm the one who actually used the term hunsgallery - twice.|sad| And the other listing is bullshit mainstream photography. Damn, I suck.

You really would think that every now & then, they'd run a linkbot of sorts to pick up 404's & 302's - Google is the same way - a simple 302 detecting script run from google.com (to catch those just redirecting Google traffic) would improve results so much that they might have more legit results than spam :D

Of course, most Link Lists do this on a daily basis |couch|

I think Yahoo and Google need to hire MML to clean up their listings. But I would lose that one hit a year from someone searching for hunsgallery.

Watch, now the Hun will sue me for stealing his traffic.
