Number of pics on free site.
 

Hi there,
Been a while since I made some free sites and decided to do a few so I went to check out the rules and receps to see if anything had changed and I found the jays-xx-links now want a minimum of 40 pics while the rest still wants 20 pics.

In the past I have had sites declined for having 30 pics and I just wanted to hear what the feelings are these days.

Will most linklists list a site with 40 pics, even if 20 is the minimum (is there a maximum?)

Should I just forget about jays-xxx-llinks and make a few sites with 20 pics or can I make sites with 40 pics and still get listed?

I searched the old threads but did find anything useful.

40 seems excessive to me, but I guess if you want Jay's traffic, you have to follow his rules.

I'm still at 20 & don't plan on changing it anytime soon. But, I will say that I usually use 24-32 depending on the design of the gallery pages when I build free sites :)

read the last couple of pages at jays thread and you will find something on it..

Just went and read the rules again and I can´t find anything or are you refering to a thread on this board ?

1) Didn´t know that you were refering to a thread here, could just as well has been on Jay´s page and I did use the search function before asking. Also, the post was on page 12.
2) Would have taken me a lot more than 20 seconds to find this (assuming that I had know that the answer was already posted) so you saved me a lot of time and I appriciate it. Thank you.

JayXXX wants 40 now WTF!!! Talk about giving them the farm.....I think 24, what most my free sites are, is pushing it. I don't submit to PK because I think 30 is way to much. Get the surfer horny then get them to a sponsor. Why let them get off to a FS!

The thread refered to above says that they do accept 20 pics, but I submitted a site some 24+ ago and still haven´t heard anything yet :-)

I think 20 to 30 is plenty to list. Depending on the subject I might extend that a little.

Doesn;t mean that I won;t list it because of the number of pics, just that I think it's excessive.

And with 45 pics, you could make 2 sites instead of one - more ads :D
