Well, they moved my Grandmother to yet another hospital. So, I will be dealing with that today. And, it is another cold day. I should be around most of the day.

I just checked the weather forecast for LA and Vegas for next week. They predict it's going to get 90°F in LA next Friday. Guess I better leave my sweaters and coat at home. Only 73°F in Las Vegas..

One of the things that sucks about getting older is all your relatives start dying. :(

It is going on four weeks now that I've been taking care of the two shitting machines that my neighbor has for cats. He was just going away for a few days or so he said. He called me yesterday and still is in Oklahoma switching his daughter over to a Mac from a PC. He loves messing with electronic gadgets and after he met me he bought a bunch of Apple stuff and now he is switching his daughter over. I'm just getting sick of cleaning his cat's litter box. My cats have their own door so they just use the outdoors and I don't have a litter box.

I got talked into giving a seminar on using backup software called Retrospect Workgroup to a small office so I'll be off playing a teaching computer geek for hire part of today.

Some days I think that my whole life is just computers and porn.

Cold! You want cold? Today's high is -1F. This sucks. It's a good thing that I'm done breeding cause my balls freeze solid everytime I open the door. It's a damn good thing I installed a high efficiency furnace earlier this year. This drafty old house is pita to heat.

As most of you know, today is my birthday & in honor of this, I'm going to get my hair cut. I might come home this afternoon looking like a fat little "Corporate Boy" :D

It's a balmy 19 deg here today - heat wave in Buffalo!

Morning everyone!

The little heater that heats my office went out in the middle of hte night last night. The guy who built the house originally decided not to put heat in the addition because he went to Florida in the winter, so the room was super cold. I wound up having to move my laptop out to the kitchen table where the furnace supplies the heat. I think today I will be calling a heating and cooling guy to get an estimate on running heat ducts into the addition to heat that room.

God I cannot wait for summer, the winter is getting depressing.

I feel your pain. My old office at my old job had no heat ducts so my feet and hand would freeze (from using the mouse). I don't miss those days.

I do own a suit - it's the same one The Blues Brothers wore :D

My wardwobe sucks - I was packing for Vegas & realized that I have 10 pairs of pants - 5 pairs of jeans & 5 pairs of green cacky docker type pants.

lol, GG I’m with you on that, When I first got down here I was asked to go to a night club and told to dress nice.... nicest thing I had was a football jersey lol.... The wife had most of my clothes with her, so I didn’t go out that night.

Even now, I have maybe 5 jeans and maybe 5 shorts and 3 sweats.... Working from home you tend to neglect the clothes....

The rest of my tile is due today.

If it actually does show up and the tile guy comes by to do my bathroom and bedroom this week it will be a very strange feeling having my house completed.

Time to move :D

Today is Wednesday already? Time flies.

For me, its a case of Afternoonus Interruptus. I had to put on long pants today (first time in 2005) and it wasn't weather related. Tonight I'm having dinner with one of my employee's parents, so, I must make myself presentable. Yeah, yeah, hours worth of work. I better get started.
