Need info on tracing use of my pc
 

I went out of town for a few days and when I returned my neighbor told me that the landlord was in my apartment for 5 hours! i freaked!

As i went to the bedroom the computer was on, my dildos and movies etc were rummaged through and I noticed several of my blank cd-r's were missing (along with my digital video camera!)
I know my emails were checked, but don't know for sure what was looked at, or burned onto cd from my files. is there a built in program on windows xp to do this or should I have had some spyware software installed?

he also drank a brand new bottle of Crown Royal and left cig butts in an ashtray on my computer desk (I don't smoke in my house either!)

he admitted to the camera and returned it and I am filing with the police tuesday (the day i am moving the fuck out!) but want to know if he copied my archives of my live cam shows (which all have a mariahxxx.net copyright on them) so i can really fry his ass

is there a way to trace this for 3 days?

I would have had his ass locked up the moment I was told about it. The police and the courts don't have a lot of respect for people who wait to report crimes until it is more convenient for them. You should already be in contact with the authorities. Don't you watch Judge Judy?

What a freak!!! Make sure he doesnt know where you are moving or else he might harass you. Check you temp files maybe you'll find out which site he checked out while online.

This is a SERIOUS crime and I urge you to call the police immediately. If he'll break in while you're gone, who's to say he won't while you're there? You certainly don't need to worry about getting evicted at this point. Call da po po, ask for a detective. That is some Messed Up Shit. *shudder*

Edited to add - I don't actually know that asking for a detective makes one bit of difference, but it sounded cool when I typed it. But seriously - don't let this go one second longer.

Depending what cd burning software you use, there *may* be some log files...but you probably won't find out.

I had a friend (6'4" 275) go over and talk to him...he fessed up and gave me back a video camera he stole, admitted he drank my new 1 liter bottle of Crown...while he was there I called the police and they spoke to him and if I were to pres charges I would have to drive back 6 hours every week or so to his court case for him to end up with probation. didnt seem worthwhile so I didn't press it since im leaving. I changed locks and am out of here tuesday.

I just wanted to know what he viewed and what he burned onto disk.

Well, there's a good chance you can set a BIOS password so that when yout turn the computer on you need to type a password for it to boot.

Hopefully, that will never happen to you again though!

prob no use but diownload.com has some great tools for checking keystrokes on a puter, basically moitors all activity on a computer secretly, only you will be able to see if its being used while your not around.
