What kind of sick world do we live in when this happens?

what is really weird is that ebay won't go after merchants that sell stolen merchandise.

We had 2 cases of REI branded chopsticks missing. UPS said they delievered them to our pooling station, but we never saw the paperwork or have the receiving doc. Had to purchase them again.

about 4 months later we found someone selling them on ebay for 12.00 a pair and had 190 sets of them which could only have come from those missing cases.

Ebay refused to take down the sale, or to even give the name etc of the seller. Our attorney finally did a "buy it now" and get the info.

I guess they will go after non-existant stuff cuz they won't get their $$ but stole merch that does exist puts $$ in their pocket. |angry|

Just after Christmas someone paid me via Paypal for an auction on eBay, and after I sent them the goods payment got cancelled by Paypal because the customer was fraudulently using someone else's credit card to pay with. Despite this (and remember Paypal is owned by eBay), eBay did not stop this guy's account, and he is still buying stuff on eBay.
