I used to belong to a whisky of the month club, Got a different bottle of single malt scotch every month. Trouble was that although they were good whiskies, they were expensive (over $100 per bottle, sometimes over $200) so I had to give up.
But I got through some damn fine scotch, sometimes very rare stuff (occasionally, for example, you would get whisky from distilleries that had been closed for 10 or 20 years). |
Bacon rules - you don't just have to fry it in a pan.
Wrap damn near anything in bacon and grill it, like shrimp, veggies, whatever you want. Bacon renders and oils infuse the inside. Jim- I like this, in fact, I might just get in on this one. |
Damn that's a nice find Jim! I'm tempted to jump on this one too.
[Homer Voice] MMMMM....Bacon [/Homer Voice] |
Maybe I need to find the tofu of the month club. :D

Soy beans from the mountains of Madagascar for January
Soy beans from the plains of Indiana for February Soylent Green from NYC in March... hahahaha Did you notice in Soylent Green which takes place in 2022 that the WTC's are curiously absent. How did they know? ok, ok, I know the movie was filmed before the WTCs were built. :) Although I think AI was the last movie to show the WTCs -- and it took place 2000 years in the future. |
