Does Thumbzilla/Nelvac still read this board??

I've tried to contact Nelvac a couply of times now about my Elite webmaster account... but still no response |sad| Its been over 2 weeks now since my first email to him.
Is there any other way than email to contact him??

Did your receive the email I sent you a couple days ago?

I did the same thing..i shut my account off in August *it's that 1 week thing*.. when my mom died cuz i knew i couldn't make the cut off every week. so mid sept i sent an email asking to be re-instated and have yet to hear anything.

I also sent Killa-Thrilla-Zilla an email..just to catch up and haven't heard.. and he's never on here anymore since the crash..

so.. My distinguished Pal.. Hope all is well with you and you are just on a Rocky Mt. High.

Jan, did you use a clear subject line? Like, "Nelvac, this is elite _ID_, I need _state what you need_.". It helps.

Two weeks is pretty long, he usually answers in 4-6 days.

Nelvac never joined here as far as I remember, Zilla was here for a while, before the crash.

Before the crash??....

The big August crash, the one that whiped out most of the user accounts and all messages. Thats why you see so many people that joined this board in Aug 2003.

I did write him an email with a subject like that... but still no response. Maybe I'll shoot of one more with an even more obvious title *LOL*

Thats what I would do, Jan. I've lost and regained my elite account there a couple of times, Nelvac is sometimes a lttle slow to respond, I would just politely keep asking my question once every two weeks.

You might want to keep it private, but may I ask what you are asking him about? I might be able to give you some ideas, based on my past experiences.

Wicked, Fonz is right, I meant GG&J's hard drive crash in august.

Well... my elite password just stopped working one day.

Its might have to do with the "submit once a week thing". But there has been several occasions where I didn't submit one galleries for more than a week... and never had any problems.
I also read his elite rules and check out the banners regularly... so I don't think that I broke any rules... at least not knowingly.

Yes, I'll bet it's the once a week thing, he started to tighten up on that considerably this summer, I lost my account too in july for exactly that reason. I got it back, using the technique I'm suggesting.

And you know, if you don't hear back from him after a month, I suggest just re-applying for an account. I know this works from personal experience, (from the first time I was dropped) and I've heard that it's easier for him to do it that way than to deal with requests from dropped webmasters.

Ram, thumbzilla elite has always had the rule that you have to submit at least once every seven days, but it wasn't enforced much until this summer.

I got nipped by this myself. I think it helped my case that I emailed nelvac on the eighth day, wondering why my account had been closed.
