Am I doing anything wrong????

Hi all,
Im a newbie..and have been finding a challange in getting added to link lists..Im not sure if it is my site or my descpition when submitting my URL. Im just looking to see if anyone usually has this problem or not..I do have a paysite and it dosnt have a warning page...I also place my links on a separte page but Im unsure if this chases away the link lists. Any help is great help..thanks

Welcome to GG&Jim's Quicksilver.

We're going to need samples of your work to really help you. What do you mean when you say "place my links on a separte page"?

hi Quicksilver, great to have you here at G&J!:)

UW is right..it would be nice if you post here your site.

Im assuming that you have a paysite with a links page and you are trying to get it listed on link lists?

The best thing to do if that is the case is build some free sites promoting your paysite

Hey Quicksilver,

I would suggest surfing some of the LL's you're submitting to and look at the sites listed. Also don't forget to check out GG's submit rules page.

Read the link list rule:
You need a warning page
You cannot place links on a separate page. Must be on the page the link lists are linking to (the warning page) to be safe.

a few options that would work are

a: build free sites that promote you site and submit them (as was already said)

b: make a seperate entrance/warning page to put recips on and submit that to link lists (maybe a folder like /warning/ so that it is still an index page which a lot of list require their recips to be on

c: get an affiliate program, most places will list you recip free if they can signup and get a piece of the action |thumb

Just about every adult webmaster board has lengthy threads about teleteria. Too bad newbies dont see them till it's too late.

So many people have gone through this, it's shame. Too bad they could'nt see the message boards before hand.
