exit traffic on free sites
 

Where do you send your exit traffic (or do you not) on your free sites?

FPA's? Directly to sponsors? Other free sites? link lists? link dumps?

I do not send them anywhere I want my surfers to come back and they will not if I send them somewhere they don't want to go

Exit links that go to other adult sites are generally frowned upon. Usually the whole point of an "exit" link is to give someone underage a link to exit to non-adult content, a "cover your ass" type mentality. When I use exit links I put up a non adult sponsor that I still have some numerical chance of making a buck on.

I usually send them to ppc se feed.

I used to send them to hell, Tshirt Hell, that is. Now I don't even bother. They don't like my site, they can go back from whence they came.

send it to yahoo or google, you will make a lot of money that way |banghead|

I have been sending mine to tshirt hell as well but havent actually made a sale yet lol... well except for the shirts I buy regularly :D "I broke up Brad and Jen" "I should be in the kitchen" "Talk nerdy to me" hehe
Maybe sickkittens meant exit traffic as in popups when they close the free site...

Plus, you're helping a good cause, because Yahoo and Google need all the inbound links they can get. |headbang|

I see lots of people link their Exits to Yahoo or Google... maybe they think the SE's will give them a boost or something. Can't hurt, but not sure if it really works.

I don't think people link their Exit link to Google/Yahoo for the mere purposes of SE reasons. Probably because it's the general thing to do, and that everyone else does it.

I like to control all my revenue outlets as much as possible. I received my first iPod by linking my Exit link to my freeipods.com aff link.

Ive tried a few different non adult sponsors for an exit link with no success. Ringtones tshirts and the like.

So I just recently started to make the exit link point to google, as I would rather have the additional adult sponsor link counted as opposed to the exit link counting as a sponsor link.
