Anyone know wtf Gratis or iGratis means?
 

I cannot find a translation of that word, probably because I dont know what language it is. I thought it might be spanish, but the translation sites aren't returning any results.

I'm thinking it means free , but I'm not 100% certain, anyone know?

Didn't Al Swearengen on Deadwood have a problem with that word when they were putting a bulletin in the newspaper back when smallpox was around?

I only caught a couple of the episodes from Deadwood. That's the western series on cable right?

Yeah - they were going to give anyone with small pox the vaccine "gratis" & Swearengen made him change it to "free gratis" so everyone would understand it :D
