What's a good energy drink?
 

I need to get working on a couple sites, and need to be wired all night.

Anyone have any good solutions to a good energy drink, that not only tastes good, but is effective.

Anything other than Redbull too, that stuff is nasty. |dizzy|

I love Sugar Free Red Bull, but I have to admit that Torn got me hooked on Diet Mountain Dew :)

Green tea... lots of it and strong :)

Is it containing coffein or is it just a soda?

Green Machine, Green Goodness ..whatever. Those phytonutrient loaded green juice drinks containing apple kiwi broccoli spinach spirulina echinacea blue green algae wheat grass and others. I find it in my produce section. In California it was a Naked Foods product. Tastes way better than it sounds and very nutritious. Real power food!

rockstar energy drink will have you wired all night.... I don't think any of the energy drinks really taste all that great, just drink them fast, and after you have a few of them you get use to the taste |headbang| I personally use bud light or corona with a lime, but that doesn't work for everybody :D

Get yourself a 2 liter of Mountain Dew, it's cheaper than those expensive power drinks, you get more for your money, it taste pretty good and it get's the job done... :)

Good point, I'm not a big fan of Mountain Dew, but I like staying on a tight budget.

Just take a Guarana and you can drink whatever you like to drink.

I prefer calves blood drank through a stick of black licorice. Make sure you mix a couple of aspirin in with it if it's especially fresh.

RedBull now on sale in Canada, they snuck it in as a "health suppliment".

I can see why. They take an otherwise unhealthy supplement, inject it with vitamins, and voila.

I spoke to my Dr. about Red Bull. He said to NOT drink it everyday. Apparently, it can mess up your stomach and since I already have issues with mine, I go easy on the shit.

But I still recommend it over anything else except for maybe Greek coffee. |thumb It's much better tasting than that Italian shit they call coffee any day of the week.

There is always yerba mate` the Argentinian favorite and coffee substitute since you mention guarana.

The worst thing that you can do to your wired head AND the most effective is liquid coffein. You should be able to get it from drug-store, they're selling it in ampullas AND if you're drink one of these with a glass of Coca-Cola... well, you can say bye-bye to sleep for at least 2 days streight. Fuck energy drinks - too much to piss :) I know people that have worked on whisky and cocaine for 48 hours strieght, but it's another story...

Are there any energy supplements that I can have injected directly up my anus? I really like putting things up my ass. Maybe something in a large, dry, rough textured suppository?

Have you tried Red Bull enemas? Maybe leave it in the can for added pleasure.

I like the big 16 ounce energy drinks in the diet formulation - Monster or Rockstar will do the trick for me, although diet Rockstar tastes kinda foul. It feels weird to be driving around with a "pounder" in my hand again after having quit drinking alcohol umpteen years ago.

If you have any asian markets where you live you might try looking for the Thai Redbull formulation or the cheaper knock-offs. Comes in a cool looking brown bottle that looks like cough medicine or in short tin cans. It's non-carbonated and super sweet. I once drove from Seattle to Boston in 64 hours with a case of Thai Redbull to supplement some short naps.

I heard about the Thai-version of RedBull. I also heard that although it is more potent than the regular RedBull, it's also contains some ingredients that could hurt your body adversely.

Thai redbull has certain ingredients that are fair to middling addictive, put there with intention of keeping people drinking. Scan around the web a bit, you will truly be amazed what is in that stuff.
