Good Submission Rules for my Links List

Righto,

Once I get my site more sorted and start getting in submissions from free sites, it occurs to me I really to have a good set of submission rules.

I've little experience of what consitutes a reasonable free site to list (In the past I did seo for an adult webmaster for a rev share), so I'd appreciate your additions to my rules list below as I want Percy to be a good resource right from the start.

No illegal content
No sites hosted on an ip addresses
No free hosted sites
No pop ups, consoles, or irritating software
No redirections

Site should have a minimum (say 20?) pics or (10?) videos.

Umm... Something about how many outgoing links on the pages (3?).

Urrr... help? :D

Base it on what you as a surfer would accept or find annoying :)

Rules are for pussies.:D

That being said, feel free to rape and pillage mine: http://www.filthyearl.com/add.php

Keep your rules in line with everyone else's. If you create any new rules that are specific to your own site you will find it very difficult to get submissions. It's much easier on both the list owner and the submitter if we all try to shoot for the same standards. (within reason)

All good stuff, thanks! Rape and pillage? Sounds like a Saturday night out in Scotland!

since your list is new be a little bit (just a little bit) easier on your rules than the really big lists, it might help get you a few more submitters... as GG said make them based on what you would want if you were a surfer hitting your site... don't just copy and paste somebody elses rules, don't be demanding with your recips at first, allow an FPA, stuff like that that gives submitters a little incentive to start subbing to you, and as your list builds you can change the rules as you feel the need to ;)

I'm starting to get interested in stories. Would you consider story based free sites?

I like stories, submit and I'll create a cat for them.

Wish I could write well enough to do them but my writing skills suck!

Well...nobody's perfect...:)

I've got an erotic stories category, and it's pretty empty at the moment so I'd appreciate any submissions!

This is a story I wrote when I was going to start a site to promote phone sex girls.
http://www.calltonight.com/sex-stories/hairy-pussy.html

Someone said they were a bit short and I'd need about 10 for a free site. Is this about right, and should they have a common theme?

MadMax 2005-03-19 08:14 PM

IMO 10 stories per site is very much overkill. A lot of the story free sites I list have 3-4 stories at about 1000 words each. A somewhat common theme will help you stand out in the listings and will be more likely to keep a surfer interested, but it's not mandatory for me :)

UW - what does this line mean in your rules:
Quote:

You may not imply that any model is younger than 18 through text or with props within photos.
So you don't list photos where a 35 year old poses with her collection of cute teddy bears, vintage barbie dolls, or pink elephants? |pink
Because the probs might suggest she's childish?
Some 'mature collectors' are serious about their collection! I have like 200+ model cars, some as old as 40 years (and worth quite a bundle). But then I don't pose for porn, and if I would nobody would be interested... LOL

If the model's age is apparently beyond teen, I don't care if she's in a diaper and sucking on a bottle. But if she appears to be young and the pics are shot to make her look even younger - I have a problem with it. I have a narrow perception of what fits in the teen category. I don't like 35 years olds being sub'd to teen and I don't like it when photographers take teens and use them to appeal to pedophiles.
