Is it just a local thing, or do most places have Fish Fry's every Friday during Lent? I can't stand fish, but TheBitch craves one every Friday |blinky|

It's a balmy 22° & supposed to get up to the high 30's. I really hate this time of year - 30° & 40° days really do suck ass |bullshit|

I'll be scarce for part of the day as it's Friday, which means I get to go grocery shopping for the next week & visit the chiropractor :)

Where I am at, they (Fish Fry's) are on like every corner. Pretty much every little dive bar has a fish fry on Fridays. Trying to get over this nasty ass cold. Just drank some DayQuil in hopes to ease my pain :)

Wow it is a fucking beautiful day here today. We had lots of rain here late yesterday and into the evening and now everything is clean and fresh with a high of 77°F expected.

I just bought myself a cross country bike so I can go on trips with my friends in the weekend. It's a Kona Caldera if you really wanna know. Something like this but an older version. It'll probably end up in the garage to stay there but hey, at least I tried.

Oh yeah, it's the start of a new weekend, have a good one all :)

Whoa! There's a term from "back-home"!!

Friday Fish Fry isn't just a Lent thing where I grew up in Northern WI... it's all year. Every lake-front tourist resort tries to have the best. lol Usually it's all you can eat for about $7.50.

In the summer, people pull up to the restaurants in boats... in the winter, it's snowmobile posses. Total small-town social thing... and it seems to amuse the tourists (and gets them to spend more $$).

Now, I'm missing home... no wait, they just had a snowstorm yesterday. Forget that... Florida is just great. |thumb
