Thinking About Banning The Word "Nude" (rant)

I don't know what it is lately, but why do so many people think that the word "nude" belongs in every description they submit? I mean, if there are no "nude girls" on a site then don't put the fucking word "nude" in the description.

"Nude" means "no clothes on" for fuck's sake. When I see a description that says "nude girls pissing in the park" I'd better fucking see NUDE girls...not fully dressed women with their skirts pulled up.

I swear, I'm tempted to put "nude" on my list of banned words just because of the BS I've seen this week. Well...I probably won't.

Funnily enough , it would appear that Google Adwords no longer likes the word 'nude' either - I changed the URL on an ad earlier this week which has been running for months, and it suddenly said I couldn't use 'nude' any more. I couldn't believe it.

I changed it to 'naked' which was acceptable - just what the difference is (if any ) is debatable

I know what you're saying. If I get grossly inaccurate descriptions I just delete the site (obviously the submitter doesn't bother to look at the site so why should I?). As for being overused, other words I can't stand seeing anymore are "hot, horny, amateur"... I'm sure the surfer couldn't care less though. :)

I think I should add "perfect" to my list as well. If I had a nickel for every time I saw a submission that said "perfect blonde" or "perfect tits" or "perfect galleries", well, I'd have a lot of nickels. Perfect is a pretty high standard in my book, and I don't see much "perfect" anything.

better than a ban list, invite the submitters to OTB and they might learn something..

Last weeks topic was writing text and descriptions/titles were included.

Too bad that most of the time the people who need it most are "too busy" to take 1 hour a week to expand their biz. It's ok..that just leaves MORE for us.

I've been having much more success banner phrases instead of just words.

"Hot Blonde" is banned but not hot or blonde so you can still have a "Blonde on the hot sand" but you can't have a "Hot Blonde on the hot sand."

naked means without clothes and is a basic description. Nude is a word used by artists to describe an unclothed figure in an artistic creation (and is an attempt to make it non-sexual to avoid censorship). I guess for porn, naked makes dicks harder. :D

I thought all blondes were hot anyway. And all teens are cute or horny. Apparently some of them are also sluts ;)

I agree.... but it isn't the beach that is nude or naked, it's obviously the people on it.

My phrase that adwords didn't like is 'nude webcams' so they became 'naked webcams'.... but I have yet to see a webcam that is either nude or naked |cool|

The day surfers start consulting a thesaurus before surfing is the day I'll get more creative with my descriptions. ;)

I think that banning words is bad idea. If you ban all words associated with porn and sex (hot, nude, sexy) then titles and descriptions of sites (search engines) will mistakable...

Tell me this. What the hell does nasty sexy mean? How about nasty gorgeous. Pick one people! She's either nasty or she's sexy. And the babes they describe as nasty have never had a nasty day in their sexy lives.

Well one hand Im guilty as anyone for using nude, hot, and amateur, but there are just so many ways of describing a site and if you start banning these words then there will soon be other words that will take their place, and they will have to be banned to and so on and so on.

I wish I could think of more words to describe things, and even consult the thesarus daily but often times it comes back to just those same words that people are familiar with.

Well, I'm not seriously going to ban the word. My issue is with how it's being used lately on my submissions. I mean, I don't think the meaning of the word "nude" is a mystery, and used properly I have no problem with it. It's the ones that use "nude" when they're describing a softcore strip that never gets all the way to nude, or a fetish site where nobody's acually nude, and so on.

I decline "First Time" anything except in the amateur category. Because I do actually run across some that possibly could be first time pics, BUT they better be first timers on camera.
Descriptions or titles like "chick gets nailed in the ass for the first time".
And the sponsor content has them listed 15 times????

Why is it that people cannot properly describe a series of 20 pics? Well, if you are describing pics of clothed individuals as nude, you are either lying or you're fucking idiot. There's no other possibility.

There are submitters who over-state what is really occurring in the pics. They describe what may be happening even if the pics don't back it up. That happens with anal a lot. If I can't see a cock slipping in to an asshole, it's not anal. But some people give anal descriptions for pics that have been taken from a bad angle and or such a distance so that you can't really tell where the cock is going or even if a cock is present. That happens with lesbian pics too. Two women posing together doesn't make them lesbians.
