What's an ideal sales ratio for a sponsor?

What is a realistic ideal sales ratio for a sponsor, if there is such a thing?

I know what matters most is how much money you make given the same amount and type of traffic sent to each sponsor. But here's a ratio from the sponsor that makes me the most money:

1:282 with 65,000 uniques sent.

Is that considered a good ratio?

How much do they pay per sign up?

I tend to think anything under 1:500 with $30/signup is good as that comes out to 6 cents a click.

$25.00 a signup.
So I guess 5 cents a click isn't too bad either?

Also it depends on clickthrus. I have a couple of sponsors that create a high clickthru thanks to the unique content they offer so the ratio might be lower but the money I earn is higher thanks to those high clickthrus.

Based on your numbers, you're getting almost 9 cents a click, which IMHO is very good.

Yeah, I'm pretty bad with math. :) I guess that's why SunnyDollars is my number one sponsor. |headbang|

dont forget about my magic 1/1 ratios and really its how you have your sponsor links and ads if there blindish ratios will be higher..

It also depends on how they are counting the clicks! Some people (sponsors) seem to like only counting the join page hits which is a bit stupid in my opinion.

1:1 with a million dollar payout.

I had a really good tread about that up here, but (as usual) the mods moved it to the spam.

Look in the spam section of GG and Jim for "Jays Sponsor Stats". I point out exactly which sponsors track 1st, 2nd and all that shit or see my sig.

Jay - if you don't like how we do things around here, please feel free to stop posting.

I haven't sent any traffic to that site yet. Their mature movies site converts at 1:324 for me though.
