Search engine optimization for link lists and tgps
 

I know one of the main ways Google ranks webpages is by the number of "important" webpages linking to them. Plus keywords, content, etc. What are some things to do for starters that will help a webpage get ranked higher? I'm looking for a few pointers while I look into SEO more.

I'm posting another thread. Maybe I didn't make my question clear enough or no one is reading this forum these days? |angry| :)

People are reading it but most are not going to give away anything they have learned in case you are competing with them for terms.

Maybe that's why there's no responses.

Important links, keywords in the page, links out and the usual things mentioned at most places.

When I get my search engine traffic to my link site over 100k per day, I will let you know, m'kay?

Thanks for the reply.:) I know alot of the ways to get mainstream webpages optimized, but I thought I could get a few tips directly relating to tgp optimization. I'm not trying to steal anyone's secrets, I just thought someone might have some general help to offer since this is a business discussion forum.

Most of those are BS - and just plain wrong - why post shit like that?

The webmaster of Vaughn is known to just take snippets from SE sources, and combine them onto one page.

So you'll certainly have contradicting (and inaccurate) information.
