Woot - Wordpress accused of spamming
 

Apparently they were hosting 168K outsourced articles, written by an outsourcing agency, for making money from high $ Adsense keywords.

adsense spam is becoming big business, and it's likely to become bigger.

I mentioned here before about bloggers creating fake asbestos blogs to take advantage of the huge price pr click offered by asbestos lawyers.

It does sound like wordpress knowingly put up these adsense articles...

yeah, for the most keywords I am searching for in google I only find sites doing "adsense spamming"

Looks like selling WP as a free product apparently didn't pay well enough. :D

Just as a note to current WP users, Google is NOT banning the blogs, just the wordpress.org domain name.
