New Yahoo Update - Glum
 

Anyone else seen a reduction in indexed pages and backlinks over the weekend?

My site was pretty new, so it's not like I lost a heap of traffic, but now only my homepage is indexed and my backlinks are down by 90%.

Time for a lie down in a darkened room I feel....

Nope, nothing here yet.

I have other sites that haven't been touched and all is well, and some who have been reduced by 60 to 80%.

I'd think it was just me if the air wasn't filled with the wails of other anguished webmasters!

I haven't done anything naughty or spammy, so I suppose I shall assume its just a side effect of an algo change that will hopefully sort itself out!

Yeah, there's been an update on Yahoo.

From a quick glance at a couple dozen keywords for update analysis, in my "research", I found that there were more spammed listings than anything else. :(

i definatly seen an increase in yahoo traffic.. so an update did happen.. hooray! |bananna|

I have had a nice increase in traffic to a Chyna Doll sex tape page that I made but I can't figure out what term I'm getting the traffic for because the ones I targetted certainly aren't the ones getting the traffic.. weird. Doesn't matter though because I'm happy about it.. :)
