I got my personally taxes done yesterday. Usually I have to make some obscene check out to the IRS but this year I'm getting a very nice refund. I've never gotten a refund before, I'm still in shock.

My mom & Grandmother are coming over for dinner today, which means I'll be scarce from 4 or so on. Survivor & the Apprentice are on tonight & I still have to watch Deadwood from last Sunday.

West Wing is really struggling I think, this was by far the worst season, the last few shows have been interesting, but not enough to say anything good about this season...

I'm so sick of Josh, so I think I am rooting for the GOP....

This is the 1st season I've ever watched of The West Wing (we're only watching it because The Bitch is a HUGE Alan Alda fan) and I have to say that I did enjoy it a lot. Last night's season finale was really good.

Of course, since this is the 1st season that I've seen, I can't reference it to any of the others, so just ignore me :)

West Wing use to be a very "high intelligence" series, with story lines that required the viewer to both pay attention and to be at least slightly informed of world events. Season one is classic, showing naive people who think they can change the world put up against, well, the world.

As time has gone on in the Barlett adminstration, they have gotten more and more bogged down on personal issues, such as health and romance. People have come and gone. The changes in writers, producers and directors has all taken away from the show in some way.

This season ender was written such that they can poll and survey viewers, setup up instant polls, online games, and other things to try to see how the population really feels, so that they can lead up to an election that will satisfy the people. So far there appears to be quite the pull for Alan Alda's character to be the next president, and to explore the WW through conservative rather than liberal eyes. That would allow for an almost 100% changing of the guard next year, a total renew of the show, which could keep it in the ratings good graces for a few more years.

I too am tired of watching Josh jumping on swords each week.

I think seasons 3 and 4 were the best, the beginning of season 5 was the start of the decline, all the hype of Zoe being kidnapped and built up and built up and then the sudden ending of "oh there she is, over there".....

There have been a few good shows here and there since, but it's not as strong as it was on a weekly bases. I think they are biting off more then they can chew, a meteor almost destroying the earth, peace in the mid east, and now leaks in the WW over military secrets (who I think will be Hoynes)

They just keep trying to get bigger and bigger instead of better. Last nights show was good, but they hyped and hyped the DNC, and as with Zoe, the last min it's over with and all is happy.

59 mins of build up and a sudden end without actually getting to the end.

Josh has been bothering me more and more the last few years, at first he was interesting, but now it’s bothersome. Need to bring Rob Lowe back and give more time to Toby.

Donna and Will just plain need to go.

Was working on some stuff last night and poof goes the DSL. So I went to bed with a book instead. Woke up this morning, still gone. Spend 45+ minutes on the phone with them and they asked me to do all kinds of stupid shit. Still dead, so I went down to the ocean with a book instead and spent the whole day there. Got back, another 45 minutes on the phone, still dead.
"Oh wait, I see that we have disconnected you and that you are switching provider"
"Yeah, but that'in a month"

So they have disconnected me and supposedly I will get my DSL back in a week. So I will be gone for a week since modem sucks. I will only do reviews.....ON A MODEM... fun stuff.
At least I will get to finish all my unread books ;)

As someone who has a huge set of tits, I have to say that thought of twisting a tit makes me shudder 1st thing in the morning. I can guarantee that no one would be doing that to me without getting hit. :D
