How many URLs (links) may contain one recip? Most recips contain 2 URLs. But I saw recips with 3 URLs. Is it allowed (3 different URLs)?

I have no problem with 2 and 3 link recips, and there are no hard and fast rules. There are a few that are ridiculous and have like 10 or 12 links in them and those are severely frowned upon. Do a board search for "nexgen recips" and you'll find a couple amusing threads.

Some recips have 2 links plus a bunch of text, smutgremlin has that marquee and three links. 2 links has become pretty much standard with the category specific recip links so I don't think 3 is out of line but I'd draw the line at anything more than 3.

Don't care. Not that I have any right to care anyway. I'm just small taters. But I'm thinking of making a couple of submitters use specailly designed recip that has links to all of my categories since they can't seem to figure what's hardcore and what isn't when they have that option.

I would say 1 or 2 is fair - and for those who have 3 it should be allowed to remove one of them from the recip.

Universal recips with links to all categories should be interesting idea. But I don't know whether search engines like that (for example: "link farms", relation "key words" / "all words"). But it should be more comfortable for submitters...

BTW: I just would like to know whether it is allowed (3 URLs) and there are any rules about it (recips and LL construction). I'm interest what is allowed and what is forbidden. I'm beginner and I would like to know all rules.

I think 2 is fair also. I've seen the 3-4 myself. Think those are for related catagory/pages.
