Fetish Philes Re-Opens For Hard Link Trades (Finally)
 

Hey everyone,

After way too long being too buried to do any hard link trades I'm finally caught up! I know I owe link trades to several of you, and I'd like to catch up on all of them in the coming week as well as get some new trades going. This is what I'm open for:

--Index, Category and/or submit page trades with other extablished link lists. I don't live and die by PR but please don't ask me to link to cats that only have a couple listings. The exception there is if you're like me and you've got a bunch of micro-niche cats that are hard to get submissions for :))

--All relevant trades between my cats and niche hubs or TGPs

--Index and Category page trades with multi-category TGPs

Just out of curiousity, what's the logic behind that?

Do you figure your page, with hundreds of links out, would be the loser in linking to a page with, say, 40 links out?

What's your reasoning?

Please note that I said pages with only a couple listings not pages with 15 or 20 or 30 :) As to my reasoning:

1) I make sure my pages don't have hundreds of links out by using multiple pages for categories with more than 70 links in them, and my link trade partners get a link to them on every page for the large categories and not just the first page (which is the only one they're linking to). While I'm happy to trade links with a new LL that only has some farmed listings or a half dozen submitted sites, I also get a lot of link trade requests from LLs that have zero listings in a lot of their categories. Doing link trades between my cat pages which have dozens or hundreds of backlinks pointing at them and pages with zero links out and zero backlinks devalues my trades for all my trade partners so I try to avoid it.

2) While hard link trades don't generate much traffic they do generate some, and I don't like to send my surfers to pages with no content :)
