We took the plunge
 

Ok, we have set up our own “official” Blog’s. Toni has been on Live Journal for 3 years or so and I think she will be keeping it, but shifting the main focus on our sites Blog.

We decided to go with

Toni’s Blog is not "up" yet, should be tonight, and my site so far is just a Blog, the main site is getting worked on now, and as soon as the design is done I will custom the Blog design which from looking around I think I want to steal Boogies design. ;)

I like your setup a lot Boogie and look forward to bothering the shit outta you with "how did you do that? how did you do that? how did you do that?" |bow|

Shit, forgot to mention, I am still working on the setup, this is all VERY new to me and I am trying to make it most custom then generic in the set up and who the links go to.

Congrats on your new blogs.. make sure you check out all the different plugins for WP, there are a bunch that look really interesting. I've been checking them out myself lately as I didn't realize how many there were.. I love goodies like that |pink

Anything you "can not live without"?

I've been going through this one and checking them out.. seems there are a slew of different plugin sites. I also search the support forum at wordpress which turns up interesting ones and you can actually find out if they work. If you allow trackbacks, baddog recommended dofollow plugin.. there's more about what it does in the trackback thread. Right now I'm looking for the best image plugins..they have some that will insert mini galleries in your posts for you (will upload, make thumbs, etc..) That'd probably come in really handy for adding in snaps from webcam shows quickly ;)
Also some link managing plugins look promising, but i'm going to have to start a new blog to kind of test these out on.. my current one works and I don't want to screw it up. Figure if i start a second one, I'll be able to test out all the stuff while I build the entries up. So many plugins.. so little time!

Yeah I grabbed dofallow since it was recommended, but to be honest I'm not sure I grasp what it really is yet; I read and reread that thread a few times and still don’t fallow it. Too many big words lol.

Is there a site with “Blog Slang” so I can understand wtf most of the others are talking about?

I also grabbed a image plugin, I think that is a MUST, I'm still looking over what I have seen, I'm going to be testing them tonight, to see if I can install them w/o breaking down and crying.
