My recip is fucked up...help!

I'm trying to put together a recip with a text box for the code for a LL I'm working on (here's the submit page).

It LOOKS the way it's supposed to and copying the code from the box reproduces the recip just fine, but here's what's driving me nuts:

When I save the page in DW it looks fine, but when I close the page and re-open it it falls completely apart. Screenshot here.

Obviously I'm doing something wrong. Could someone smarter then me take a look and help me out? TIA

It is too complicated, try this:

Code:

Planet Of Porn
Adult Directory of Explicit Hardcore Links to Free Porn

I also looked at that page and I suggest you not to use DW, the code it produces is really strange and ugly.

Thanks Fido, but the same thing happens. I save the page and everything is dandy. I close the page and re-open it and everything is fucked up. :(

Well, then try to replace all "<"s and ">"s in the code inside TEXTAREA with "<" and ">".

Doesn't Dreamweaver have a tag like GoLive does?

Lemmy - I have noticed in DW that forms look really messed up on the page but are ok once uploaded, I have no idea why. I figured if it looked ok to everyone else it didn't matter what it looked like in DW & I never had any problems with the form working.

It looks ok online, the recip copies ok so I would just leave it & never look at in DW again :)

Doesn't solve the problem as to why it does that tho, so maybe someone can enlighten us.

If you want to do what you're trying to do in DW that's exactly what you've got to do. The cheaters method is to paste the code onto the page, then go into Code View and DW will have already done it for you :)
