It's Soooo Green! I was already out this morning measuring how much more I would need to fill in the empty spots. Looks like I would need just under one more pallet of sod. I swore I wouldn't spend anymore money or time on dirty green squares but I find myself wanted more sod like a junky wanting more dope. Must seek help, sod addiction…

Actually I can't wait to do some outdoor shoots in my backyard. Alex did say that he wanted to come back to the states. :)

Still haven't made it to see Hitchhikers Guide, maybe today. Other then that I should be around the house as I'm pretty sore.

That is my old almost unused gas BBQ. I don't really care for grilling stuff, too hot and too much work, this is why microwaves were invented. It does come in handy after a hurricane when I have no power but I'm planning on getting a generator this year before hurricane season so it will probable get used even less this year.

I've lived in Florida since 1969 and never really gave much thought to hurricanes until Andrew in the nineties but even then it was just one bad one and years of nothing but then last year we had this and you couldn't find any generators to buy. Three or so days of no electric really sucks. I'm also thinking of getting cheap ADSL in case my cable goes out again.

Yep, having ridden out Charley a few miles from my new house...one of my first purchases when I moved in...was a generator. Oh, and being the carnivore I am...my gas grill gets used a few times a week :D

I'm feeling exceedingly cranky this morning because I just completed my TGP update. I'm surrounded by cocksuckers. I did some quick coding on the top secret script that runs WhoringWives so that I could delete galleries that are still in queue when I ban domains. Doing that allowed me to cut my queue in half. How do people find the time to submit all of those friggin' galleries? Then, where do they find the time to either change them to links pages or redirect them?

I don't even want to talk about the overnight parking. |angry|

Nope not me, but my yard guy's work just got doubled.

I can't stand the bare spots, going to give in to sod cravings and order another pallet tomorrow as soon as the sod dealer opens.

I've got a few brown patches the previous owners let die out, but slowly getting em to fill in again with regular watering and treatments. Lucky for me, my house backs up to a canal...so lawn irrigation is free |pink

That is a ficus tree, they only have surface roots and air roots that grow down to the ground. Their lack of deep roots causes them to fall over easily what is what happened on the west side of my house last year.
