Cleo 2005-05-17 10:05 PM

He liked you a lot and gave you a big love bite when you here. :D

He had never been in grass before. At first he got a bit freaked out but then really got it into having fun with it.

Torn Rose 2005-05-17 10:11 PM

big suprise, your bird likes grass.... |potleaf| seems to be a recurring theme there.... |pimpin

Cleo i love the Macaw thats what i want.
http://www.cleoslinks.com/crap/my-pets/pages/01.htm

Do he talk?

Cleo 2005-05-17 10:55 PM

He talks a bit but is not a great talker. At least not compared with the African Grey that I used to have.

He does have a really kewl personality and is finally getting really friendly with me after working with him for many years. He was a rescue from a nasty lady who was a drug dealer and was holding him as collateral as a result of a friend's coke problem. She really abused him and till this day he still doesn't like blondes as Torn found out.

He will follow me around if I leave him on the ground or the floor in my house. Now that I no longer have carpet, WTF was I thinking putting white carpet in my house, I've been bringing him in a lot.

I guess we have something in common Cleo - although mine is a green-winged Macaw so its a little larger but I can tell you from experience - his bite will break your arm :)

http://www.linklist.net/pics/

I also include a pic of my outside friend thats a Red-Tailed Hawk that lives in my little forest I own here - he comes to find the mice and loves the moccasins in the pond

Cleo 2005-05-18 07:00 AM

Wow I don't have a Hawk in my backyard. I do have raccoons and lots of possums. The raccoons sometimes find the cat doors which is not good. Possums have to be the most stupid creatures that I've ever seen but it is pretty kewl the way they run around on the utility cables.

great pics cleo, i love those birds things, my mom had alot of...what are they called parrots? some of those i realy hated, there was one parrot that was an gray with red tail thing if he saw me hew would attack me btw he did with all , now i am not afraid of parrots http://www.stuveltje.com/ingrid.jpg its not the most recent pic of me but that pic is about 3 to 4 years old, the guy who took the pic told me to hide my jewelery, so i did and hide my eyebrow piercing under my hair, but the red bird found it and holds it, i was to afraid to moce because i thought he would pull it out of my skin!

Cleo 2005-05-18 01:51 PM

The gray with red tail is an African Grey. I had one for many years and never did trust him. He liked to be real sweet and then without warning he would bite the hell out of you and then start laughing.

You look very young in that pic.
