After blowing my cookies last night, :D I noticed that the menu bar had 'Log Out" when I new that I was not logged in. I just figured the code was there for "Log In" and that the button did not change. Not the case! As one has to look around for log in, you might want to change a little code on the menu bar.

If I am not mistaken, the old design had Log In and Log Out changing.

I don't think the old design had a login either, at least I never found it.

I often use other people's computers and I've always clicked on the control panel link to login.

I do know that there has always been a logout link since I'm real careful not to leave myself logged in on someone else's computer.

Cleo, you probably are correct that the old design did not have one either. I knew of three ways to log in - as you suggested, the CP, the form at the bottom of a forum, and log in when posting or replying while not logged out.

Rotating the button only requires a small amout of code. Since we are going for perfect and just wanted to point it out in case ya'll had not noticed it.

I remember logging out before and having a hell of a time logging back in.

The login form that you mentioned is there on every board that's using vBulletin.
