question about recips

Do most link list owner mind if you change the colors on their recip so it looks nicer on your site? I think it would look better but I don't wanna piss anyone off.

Peace,
droopy

If you are new to free site building, I would suggest leaving the recips as they are for now. Ultimately, the overall quality of your site will determine it's acceptance or rejection, but there are lists that do not like to see their recip tampered with. A well-built recip is a form of site branding.

If you do choose to change a list's recip, make sure that you leave the orignal link code and wording fully intact, including any title tags they may have.

I have started this think of it like this - thats what they want youto link with so use it. One less chance to get declined.

If they don't look right because of your BG colour or something THEN change it.

Words of wisdom have been spoken here. :)

If ever I need to make a change, I contact the site owner before changing anything and ask if it is ok.... 9 out of 10 times it is.. but better to ask first in my opinion.
