Yes, that's right - I said EVERYONE!

We here in the US believe that it's all about us & therefore, EVERYONE should & will be effected by what we do, therefore it's a holiday for you too, even if you live in one of those "other" countries :D

We had all the carpets & furniture cleaned yesterday & they look really good now (even the pool house, with the exception of some odd red stains) But this does mean that pretty much every piece of furniture is not where it normally lives, so I'll be spending most of the day putting things back where they belong.

Other than that, I have no major plans for today except getting ready for tomorrow's Memorial Day BBQ & Poker Tournament |waves|

Planing on hitting the beach for a bit this morning before the family crowds with hordes of annoying little people get there. After a quick swim probably just going to come home and do home type things. Other then that I don't have any real plans.

I have to prepare to go to a christening in Vermont at ll:30. Oh joy. It's a good thing that the mom has great tits or this could really suck. We'll be staying the night there from what we can tell. If the rain holds out there will be big party with drinking and cavorting. I have my fingers crossed.

Just another long weekend here. I rarely travel on holidays, would rather stay off the roads. We'll probably get together with some friends here in town for a traditional summer holiday repast.

If I hadn't turned down my Naval Academy appointment, I'd be getting out this weekend and would be a check of the month club member.

All rested up after a long day on the golf course yesterday and an even longer stay in the 19th hole. LOL And it only rained on us for the first 3 holes.

I love this time of year especially ones like today, calm before the storm I guess. ;)

Ocean is smooth as glass today with a water temperature of 82°F (27°). It's nice just to lay on your back in the water and float around. I would have stayed longer but looking at the man sitting in his chair in the surf who was red as a traffic light reminded me that I have very fair skin so 45 minutes was long enough.

Ahhh..the first long weekend of 2005. That first real oppportunity to show how much you love being stuck in traffic, getting silly and just plain having fun. :D
