Happy Farm Report Saturday

Yep, set my alarm so I could watch the farm report this morning :) I just love the government propaganda they call news stories.

Going to my other house today to get about 100 old Scarlett cds so I can make my giant non 2257 compliant website :) And then having our little naked "The Boy Moved Out" party :)

Fonz 2005-06-11 07:58 AM

I overheard on the FBI radio that they are planning a SWAT attack on your house Jim.

Anyway, got up early to my saturday standards (11 am) and don't have that big of a hangover so I actually might get something done today :)

Cleo 2005-06-11 08:02 AM

Good morning farmer Jim. :)

Good morning to all the pornographers too. :)

It's wet where, it's really wet here.

I broke the screen on my Sony Ericsson phone last night carrying my portable A/C around. It was in my pocket and the A/C pressed against my pocket and broke it. It's insured so I have to stop by the T-Mobile store and they will send me a replacement for $25. Good thing is my neighbor who I'm taking care of his cats for had a Sony Ericsson laying around that he wasn't using so I put my chip in it until my replacement arrives. His phone also has Bluetooth but is a flip phone model so it does everything but I really don't like flip phones, it does seem to have a bit better screen. Actually it is kind of nice to give this model a tryout for a few days to see if I like it or not. I really like the software of Sony Ericsson phones and they sync with my Mac really well too using Bluetooth.

Other than visiting phone stores I'll probably be around most of the day since it is just way too nasty outside to do much of anything else.

Espresso, oatmeal with fresh peaches and soy milk is on.

I am addicted to The Farm Report
Mostly because of their really accurate weather report but partly because of the government propaganda they call news stories. :)

Greenguy 2005-06-11 08:08 AM

Good Saturday Peoples!

Yell's youngest is having her birthday party here at the pool house today - and yes, it does smell like rotten ass down there today - the water is almost gone, but the AC took a shit for most of yesterday so it smells like someone threw a dead fish on the floor.

The there's some 2 minute horse race that will have 6 hours or pre & post coverage. Then poker & then that crazy Mike Tyson is gonna beat up on a white guy that's about a foot taller than him.

Fun for all :D

Cleo 2005-06-11 08:11 AM

Wow it's like the eighties all over again down here.
Bundles of cocaine wash up on Broward beaches

Useless 2005-06-11 08:32 AM

Sticky is the word of the day. It's so humid in here this morning that I could grow a rain forest behind my balls. Please - enjoy the visual.

I'm suppose to spend the day on my friend's little speed boat on Saratoga Lake today. Expect me to have the year's first severe sun burn by this afternoon.

Later, I intend to start yanking out any past 2257 notices I put on free sites and change my whois to some other 'Mark'.

MrMaryLou 2005-06-11 08:36 AM

Good morning all :)

amber438 2005-06-11 09:58 AM

Morning all..
Looks to be a pretty nice day here in lower NYS..a bit cloudy. Chances of some showers later but the humidity is way down!!

A big patch of my new sod that is in a low spot has downed and died. :(

OK, I'm sick off sitting here naked plus I kind of stink so time to jump into the shower and get wet so that I can go take my broken phone in to be replaced…

What a wake up I got.
Worst hail storm I've ever seen. I could barely see the house 75 yards away and it was loud as fuck.

Coffee and scones coming up!

cd34 2005-06-11 11:56 AM

If your condo in Turning Torso was finished, you could have been above the clouds. :)

A few projects I've got to get handled today, other than that, nose to the grindstone.

Cleo 2005-06-11 11:57 AM

I love scones. All my friends tease me about eating them saying that I like to eat dry rocks.

dareutwo 2005-06-11 12:04 PM

Morning all-
More rain in store for us up here too.
Farmers are really bitching around here.. they still haven't been able to get the soybeans in.. doesn't look good.
Lawn needs mowing about every 3 damn days... just run out in between showers.

Hello perversionistas!

Well, it seems the heatwave that is Toronto lately, continues today as well. Man, its been so sunny and hot that our once green lawn is now a faded brown memory :( I wish it would rain at night - but at night ONLY!

Thanks to science and human ingenuity for the invention of air conditioning because these high 90 temps are not fun.|bananna|

By the way, I have had a terrible streak of insomnia lately. Anyone out there with suggestions to combat this problem that doesn't include drugs or booze? |dizzy|

Dry? Then they've never tried real scones ;)

8-10 minutes in the oven and you will have perfectly moist scones. If you switch the milk for sour milk (Swedish thing), they will be even more moist and tasty :)

Cleo 2005-06-11 02:19 PM

I agree about the scones but my friends don't seem happy unless something is oozing and dripping out of their food.

pornrex 2005-06-11 03:07 PM

I guess there's no radio show today :(
