How Many Recips is OK for a TGP Gallery?
 

I'm working on some new templates for galleries. I'd like to put 4 recips at the top of each gallery. I know some TGPs indicate in their rules that they only want their recip or no more than 3 recips. For the other TGPs is 4 recips a good number?

It seems to me, that a TGP owner would want their recip along with others, so that page would be submitted to other TGPs as well, and they might get a few new surfers from those other TGPs.

Maximum of 4 but pay attention to any special requests like 3 max or their recip only on the page. Also if you get a site that wants the recip in the form of a link to a paysite or pill sponsor then you are best putting that on its own as the other TGP owners may collar you for fake or misleading recips when it isnt really your fault.

I always include 2 plus my own recip (to my own tgp)

The other thing you have to watch for is total number of outgoing links. Your own sponsor links and recips do count as outgoing, some sites keep that number pretty low, so you may only be able to list three recips to stay under the total depending on what other links you have in the gallery.

|headbang| Yup, yup. I truly dislike recips that have pill links and other advertising in them. I REALLY love the ones that put 120x60 buttons for paysites in the recip area. Makes it far too easy to ban. ;)

Besides this, some TGPs recips contain more than one link, so it's also important how you group them.

Yep, so therefore I'd always use 3 recip galleries, and as cheeseman already said, group those clowns with multiple link recips together ;)

And also pay attention what recips you group together, some big TGP's might not list your gallery if they see their recip along with blahblahblahpussy.com and whathefuckareyoudoinghere.net TGP recips! :D

3 max. per page

3 per page is safest bet
try to lump any 'special requirement' recip tgps together, or run them solo (if allowed)

and dont add fake TGP recips in - if you run a legit TGP, yeah, it will probably slide, but nobody wants to feed a bunch of crappy CJ sites when they list galleries
