The Boy's first day at work went well

The boy did well his first day at work. He had to swear an oath to protect the us...basically the same oath I swore when I went into the military. He got his ID Badge :) Filled out his federal benifits papers and went to work :)

Nope, he came over last night for me to cash his last check from his last job. He seems really happy. And, is making about 3 times as much money now.

ummm... whats he doing?

He has a Federal Job as an assistant to a Mathematician at a local research lab.

So he's in charge of remainders when the boss does long division?

I asked him, "what did you do today, get coffee and such?" He told me no, they put him right to work on a program they are woking on. He did spend 1/2 the day with the swearing in and paper work though.

Damn, that just sounds important... soon he will have his own assistant. Thats the best way to start a job.. just jump right in and get to work. Good luck to him!

LOL thats just what they do lololol. I remember my first day. I was the big computer tech la la. Anyway I figured I would be walking into a room full of smart people. Well as it turns out they were not that smart and twice as much lazy to get someone else to do the work. Anyway when I was told to go work on the 50k server I was just alittle scared as it was live. I asked what if I break it? The SFC told me, who cares did you pay for it? Well just buy a new one.
Good thing about this job Jim is your son will get a shit load of exp and see first hand how big companies run. This is all good for him. Wait till he gets that nice be fat check an walks over and gives you your HD insurance for the year, just cause you are his dad lol.
