I finally took my new wok outside and put it on the gas BBQ to get it hot enough to season it. Don't know why I didn't think of this before instead of trying to do it on my electric stove. Damn it is cooking nice now. One day I'm going to be rich and have a big gas stove in my kitchen instead of this modern electric glass top stove.

I stayed up too late last night and then I slept with a large furry beast between my legs. My wife keeps helping our overweight dog onto the bed before I get there and once she's all comfy (the dog), there's no moving her. Screw my comfort, I suppose. |cry| My back hurts, it's another variable weather day, and I've just created more work for myself.

Otherwise, all is just ducky. |thumb

Morning all! Another rainy day here again. My grandson just came in my room with his markers and book so I'm off to color with him. Can't think of a nicer way to spend an hour or two before I get to work on line... :) Have a good day all!

I was out on my daily exercise bike ride and drove past the raceway, so decided to stop by. I saw the fastest thing I've ever seen on 2 wheels.

There were also a couple of Harley Dragster (think that's what they called them). They were LOUD and FAST, awsome to see.
But all the old beat up cars with huge ass engines are my favorites. Looks like they will do 50mph, max. But end up doing 150mph :D

My nephew comes in for the summer tomorrow which means its time to clean the office a bit, move his machine back to his 'office' and generally get things prepped. Dealing with some legal issues from afar for my mom at the same time with an attorney that just doesn't have any concept of timely phone calls. And of course, Mom calls every day for a status update to find out that the attorney isn't returning calls. So, tonight we start the fax barrage. :)

I've put in a request for an additional 12 hours to be added to each day. While my nephew is here, I'll probably get my butt kicked in Halo 2, but, for some reason, I bet I'll beat him on Burnout 3 and at least last summer I could usually beat him in Crimson Skies. With Halo, he was quite deadly with the sniper rifle and quite the tactician, however, even though I didn't have the dexterity to outgun him, I did have the edge in terms of strategy.
