Happy Rhino Lining Thursday :)

That's right, I am off to rhino linings again today. While having my oil changed yesterday, I was told that my oil pan was rotting out in my truck. I called the dealer and it is one month out of warranty. I asked how much for a new oil pan and they told me $1200. I said, I don't need a new engine, just the oil pan. :)

So, I remembered seeing oil pans lined up at Rhino Linings and decided to call them. They told me, we can crawl under the truck, shoot it with the lining and the oil pan can rot away but it still won't leak. Price, $50 :) These guys are my new best friends.

WOW $1200.00 what kind of truck do you have?

Call a junk yard and find one... And next time pick another dealer.

It's not the pan that is expensive. It's having to pull the 5000 pound engine to do it that costs so much. That's why rhino will be perfect. They will crawl under and spray it and it will be better than new.

good morning, did law enforecement p... already know on your door this morning?

still found this link: http://xbiz.com/news_piece.php?id=9236

let's see what's gonna happen about that

Jim 2005-06-23 07:51 AM

Remember guys...when nothing happens, you heard it from me first :)

Jim 2005-06-23 07:53 AM

OK...I am off to the rihno linking people to get my new ramp done and set up an appointment for my oil pan.

Greenie, since you also have a newer ford truck...have your oil pan looked at. It comes from the salt on the road and I am told it is common with ford trucks. Of course, they may not have to pull your engine to replace it.

Happy 2257 Day... uhh I mean Rhino Lining Thursday everyone.

|coffee is ready, help yourself.

It's almost 8:00 AM here, I'd better go get dressed and ready to greet the men in black. |badafro|

[edit] hmmm, it 8:30 and still no knock on the door. I guess they're running a bit late. ;) I could have stayed in my jammies awhile longer.[/edit]

Good Morning All :)

Greenguy 2005-06-23 09:34 AM

Good Thursday Everyone |waves|

I actually won a couple of bucks playing poker last night, so I'm in a good mood (oddly enough, MML is probably NOT in a good mood - LOL)

Diving board is finally going in today - it only took these douche-bags 2 months to get their asses in gear.

Other than that, I'll be here working on this & that :)

Good morning, masculine truck owning guys. |waves|

I have attempted to find the perfect "Happy Rhino Lining" greeting at my favorite e-card emporium...and they have failed me, so part of this morning will be dedicated to composing a sharp missive of reprimand. What *is* this world coming to, I ask frequently.

Be well, all. |bananna|

(I had forgotten how much I loved the silly dancing bananna.)

Actually, the truck we have belongs to The Bitch - I drive around in a rather comfy Denali using as much gas as possible :D

MorganGrayson 2005-06-23 10:05 AM

Well, then.

In that case..."Good morning, gas guzzling, ecologically insensitive wussie boy."

Oh, no...that won't do at all.

I think I'll just stick with "good morning." |greenguy|

Good Morning!! |waves|

Have fun at the Rhino Lining place!!

(I don't have a truck, I had to google Rhino Lining. . .you learn something new every day!) ;)

Lemmy 2005-06-23 10:31 AM

Good mid-morning everyone. Not a wink of sleep last night, and infected tooth kept me up. Just got back from the pharmacy with penicillin & Vicodin (thank you dr. Guariglia!), so maybe I'll get some work done today. Or maybe I'll just sit here and enjoy the buzz... ;)

sue-fl 2005-06-23 10:40 AM

Morning all! Beautiful day here in my hot, humid town. If it wasn't red tide I'd take my grandson to the beach. But swimming with dead fish doesn't sound like to much fun... :( Guess I'll just make some freesites and hang out at home. Have a great day all!

Rocco 2005-06-23 10:50 AM

hehe, can't wait till the A/C arrives :)

Verbal 2005-06-23 10:55 AM

Good morning fellow citizens of the pornosphere. Why does it feel like Y2K again today? :)

Cleo 2005-06-23 11:08 AM

Finally awake, sort of.

Ate something bad yesterday and got food poisoning so I spent all night doing what someone does with a really bad case of food poisoning. Actually thought of going to the hospital but I was way too sick to drive and the thought of calling 911 and being taken away in an ambulance seems way too dramatic not to mention being billed for all my deductibles that I'm sure would go with calling 911. Feeling much better now but still very weak so I doubt I will be doing much besides laying around the house all day.

Getting ready to sip some espresso. Not sure how good of an idea this is but I need my caffeine.

cd34 2005-06-23 11:32 AM

Sorry to hear that Cleo.

Today is 2257 day -- Continental Flight 2257 arrived this morning with little fanfare other than clients shuffling a ton of stuff around.

Off to pick up my nephew at the airport. I wonder if I can teach him to code... hmmmm...

:)

I've been sitting here in my bomb shelter, just keep peeking out the peephole, looking towards the sky, and I'll be damned - it's still there. The damned sky is still there. Go figure.

MorganGrayson 2005-06-23 12:54 PM

Ahhhh...thank you, Useless Warrior. |waves|
I have been quoted.

I am content.

Good morning - well - actually afternoon - but heck Ive been up so long it doesnt matter - still working on putting all my sites back online :)

Seems my chill-pills I started taking a while back are finally kicking in and preventing the old paranoia and panic that used to get me - now if I could just find that plan I wrote up for 2038 - I think Im ready - got the food stocked and pure water canned up plenty of batteries - just need that checklist to make sure |dizzy|
