Hi,

I have just made my 2nd new freesite. Did it a lot quicker than the first time round. I've taken into account the comments on my first one so hopefully you will like this:

PS - my host has had a big server problem today and they have been working hard to get it fixed - so if the site is down it means they are working on it and it should be back up soon.

Well...its certainly different from what I've seen from others...which is one positive thing LL's and Directories look for....however....

1. (taking in account about your recips still need to be put in), your Enter nav should be bigger and raised up a bit more above that burgandy line..it was almost missed;
2. On your Site map page for your two galleries, I know some sponsors will not like other sponsor product listed, but this is to the individual....my one issue would be the Gallery1 and Gallery2 navigation should be larger and not placed as they are which to me looks as though they would be missed by some people;
3. Your statement "Why waste your time in these galleries when you can go straight to Angel Cassidy's Official website??" to me is not really good marketing for yourself...people will see this and think, if they are not worth seeing here, why should I go to the main site? I personally would change that.
4. The Gallery1 page and the Gallery2 page look ok for design....only thing that stands out again for me and will be an issue with others is that these pages don't allow a visitor to enter the next gallery or back to gallery1 from within the gallery pages. A person has to click "Back" button on their browser for this. You need to have the Gallery navigation to and back from each other.

Over all at least the photos in your galleries are not screenshots or vid caps...or just poor quality images. The colours match up with the tones in the pics which is something I see as attention to detail. Make the adjustments to my notes above and if you submitted your free sites with those in mind, I would be approving your sites in my directory.

I agree with NetGoonie's points #1 and #3 but I disagree with #4. I would never link between the galleries. Make the surfer go back to your main page, thus increasing ad impressions. Overall good job. |thumb

Okay, the enter link thing is a HUGE issue. The enter link must be MUCH clearer, and should be at least the same size font as what huge text link right above it. You might want to re-jig the site slightly to move those two links apart slightly.

My bigger concern is that some of your most prime advertising space is taken up with ads for penis pills and getting laid. First off, if this is sponsor content, I am not 100% sure you can use the content with this type of promotion on the gallery pages. More importantly, it distracts people from what they came looking for, and rather than leading to sales, might actually cut down on the click outs to the membership site you are promoting.

Some of the images are over 100k. You don't need to be quite that generous!

Never make it easy to see more galleries - make them click forward. Put a "more hot pics and videos at her official site, click here to see more" and life is good. You give the people a way to move forward off the site onto the sponsor.

MOST IMPORTANT: Your site is too wide. 760 is just too wide, it will sideways scroll a bit in 800 X 600 window. Try to keep to about 720 - 730 to avoid this.

It's not a horrible site. A few touchups and you are well on the way.

I'll agree with Lemmy here, definitely do not link between the galleries, if anything link back to the mainpage so if the surfer clicks on that rather than the back button, the whole page loads again allowing all ads to be viewed, not just the ones that haven't been scrolled past. I also agree with NetGoonie on #1 and #3

Just to quickly add, and this is looking at it in 1024 (I only use 800 when reviewing not any other time) so I'll assume the pages fit at 800 resolution without a sideways scroll

'Click the banner to see Angel Cassidy's Official Site! ' Does not a lot imho. Enlarge the font size some, add a color, and use some juicy attention grabbing text.

I'd swap the position and sizes of the Angel and penis links. They primarily made it as far as the mainpage (you'd be surprised how many dont) to see Angel in lingerie, so that's what they are focusing on. Don't switch that focus off by turning to a different thing entirely - another porn site would be better than a completely different product imho, that's not to say don't have that ad at all though :)

Galleries look nice, but the text on those has now been seen 3 times by the surfer, change the text, maybe make certain lines a different color font?

Also, get an icra label and add it as a matter of course onto your pages http://www.icra.org/label/

Apart from the small navigation links nothing I can see at a glance to cause a decline, just trying to give you a few ideas on improving sponsor clicks, hope it helps :)

Damn, did it really take me at least 15 minutes to make my last post? lol, I just got up is my excuse :D

I still think Gallery pages should have navigation links back and forth....one of the cardinal rules of web design is to have good navigation....to say not to have a link from gallery 1 to gallery 2 and back again is poor site design. I would think that link list masters and directory owners would look for this. I do and although it's not a rule in my own submissions, its just part of good design. This is not a Gallery page...it's a gallery "site" which means the site should have full navigation.

Perhaps this should be put to a vote (Poll) to see the opinion of LL's owners and directory owners?

Practically every LL owner and freesite owner will disagree with you.The point of a freesite is to act as one bid advert and channel a surfer towards the sponser.

No problems....I looked at several that have non-linking gallery pages. I am just in the mind-set of a web designer thinking on the terms of a typical surfer for navigation simplicity.

Anyways, not a major issue....if this is the method most are using now, then gotta go with the flow hey :)

Moved Penis Enlargement Ad to the bottom - cassidy ad to the top.

Gallery 1:
Made text at bottom more colourful.

Gallery 2:
Moved Cassidy sponser text to where AdultFreindFinder ad was and changed the Advert text so it was different.

Changed the AdultFreindFinder Ad to be specific to lingerie Niche "Find Lingerie Sex Partner"

(used colour in both ads)

NetGoonie, on practically any other kind of website I'd agree with you. However, our job as AWMs isn't to make it easy for the surfer to find dirty pics (mind you, we shouldn't make it too hard either), but to get them to click sponsor ads. By providing navigation between galleries we reduce the number of ad impressions.
