I guess he doesn't really love me at all now but he did love me long time when I first rescued him from the mean blonde lady who sold party goods.

For some reason he just hates blondes. I think this might have something to do with the blonde party goods lady who ended up with him as collateral and kept him in a little tiny cage with no food and stale water out in her backyard. She wouldn't give him up for what he was worth and I wasn't about to pay my friend's huge party goods bill so we climbed over the fence in the middle of the night and I grabbed him and ran. He bit the fucking hell out of me. I still have a scar from it. Not sure what ever became of the person with the bad party goods habit or the wicked blonde party goods suppler. I've had him for over ten years now so I guess I'm stuck with him. ;)

Cleo, does Carlos ever try to fly the coup?

Carlos is very happy to follow me around the house when I have him indoors.

If he did fly off he would return home and the end of the day providing he didn't get lost.

I do keep his wings (and very sharp nails) trimmed so that if he gets spooked he doesn't fly off and get lost.

When he isn't indoors he has a 8x6x4 foot cage with lots of toys and fresh palm leaves and lots of other things to keep him amused. He lets me know when he wants to come in and when he wants to go out.

However, talk about a safety hazard. Water, no shoes, electric vacuum.
