Legal 2257 Question
One of my sponsors gives away free softcore content.
On the page where your go to download the pics, there's a link to the sponsor's custodian of records. That's it. If I were to put this particular link (to the custodian) at the bottom of a gallery using this content, would I be in 2257 compliance? |
Quote:
The ONLY way the sponsor's 2257 statement would apply is if you are linking to free hosted galleries or hosted free sites. |
Toby,
Thank you very much. That answers my question 100% |
If none of the content on your site is sexually explicit then you do not need a 2257 statement at all, but if some of it is and some of it isn't then you'd better have exemption statements on file for the content that is non-explicit.
Personally, I think the secondary producer portion of these new reg's is going to be tossed by the court, but in the mean time... |
Yeah. I'll just nuke it all and make a fresh start.
