Q for LL owners with a non-specific movie category
 

Is it OK to submit a movie site to the niche category according to its content, or do you insist that it be subbed to your general movie cat? I'm always trying to follow the rules, but it seems to me that the traffic from a specific niche would be better than that from a general movie cat.

Yup, I allow either the niche category or the movies category depending on submitter preference :)

Your choice either or.

Either is fine with me - the upside to submitting to the movies category is that odds are the surfer has broadband.

The upside of submitting to the niche category is that it's niche traffic.

The correct niche and then site type for movie sites is FreeMovies instead of Free.

Movie sites are listed in both the correct category and the Video category. On the Video page I've added which category it belongs to, like this: http://www.porn-chronicle.com/Video.html

Either is fine for me too. I suspect I will be expanding the movie sections over time to include niches. But for now movies can go in movies or in the niche for now.

With the increase in numbers of broadband surfers and the rapid decrease in price, I am thinking that "picture" free sites are going to be second fiddle very quickly.

To me, as Greenguy said, submitting to the niche catagory would be better, might be more targeted traffic.

Hi Lemmy....for me, I usually will put video or movie only sites in that category, but sometimes I might move them to a specific niche category and will base it on what the site is or has in it. eg: Milfs...or mature....I might move it to those categories. The movie and video cat on my site is usually better suited for larger video only sites (more so than free sites with small galleries).

But to finalize....I have no problem if a webmaster submits their movie or video site to a specific niche, in a lot of cases, it works better if it's niche based because if someone is looking for latina girls, they also want to see sites with video and not always pictures only...
