Looking for a script for some kind of content management
I need a script that can do the following:
list all pictures in a given directory delete as needed add as needed make folders move pics to different folders as needed I have been looking for weeks..found a bunch of gallery scripts that do some of that but none do all..and I dont want to make a damned photo album thing..found 2 that use my sql which I dont need.. It seems like a simple thing but I'm having a devil of a time finding it..any help would really be appreciated.. Thanks Amber |smooch

I looked at that..
for what I need it's really overkill.. and when I looked at the price, well.. |dizzy| the file manager is exactly what I'm lookingfor tho..just that.. |
GG. thanks for the recommendation, buddy!
Yeah Content God *can* do that. But it can do a million things more than you want, Amber. So ... let's see if my guys can come up with a different and cheaper custom solution for you Amber. You got mail. |
Thank you Dravyk..;)

Amber,
ConMan - maybe a bit of overkill for what you want to do - but it is Open Source now http://sourceforge.net/projects/a-conman DD |
Ya know, DD..Thank you!!
I saw that..was gonna try and set it up to see what it is all about.. Can't believe they went open source.. |
Update on aconman..
I have a friend who uses it.. it will only let you look and categorize..not delete or rename So I'm still looking |

Amber, glad we can provide that custom solution for you! |shake
I've been using the Open Source version of conman since it went open source. The pgsql version released by atomic.
Conman does allow you to delete and modify. You just have to understand what the relationships are. The first layer is the models. When you add a model you are assoicating those photos with content sets, categories or niches, that the photos belong to. You can later delete the model if you wish. Or change the content sets the model belongs in. The second part is the content sets, ie niches. You can add or remove a model's content from a particular content set from the list content set menu. So a quick example would be: You buy rights to 100 pics of Luna, you add Luna as a model and associate her with the latina, babes, dancers, exotic, and tranny content sets. You quickly realize that Luna isn't a tranny so you click on list content sets, select tranny, and then find Luna in the model list and select remove. So as far I can tell conman will do what you are asking for so far. PS: apologies to Luna for using her as an example. |
Luna's a Tranny !?!?!?!?!? |shocking|

Sorry..that's way too complicated..not that I'm a dummy mind you..I want something simple and clean..scan the folder. show me whats in there, let me make folders to move stuff around to and delete any individual photos if I want..I dont need any of this association stuff..I'm not gonna use it to make sites with..and no mysql..dont need it..I'm sure it;s ok to make sites with..I know people who use it and like it..it's just overkill for me.. Thank you anyway!! |jackinthe |
