You know, I read something about the hearing being rescheduled for a later date on xbiz yesterday. And I went to get the link just now and found the article you linked instead. Guess I have more reading to do.... |dizzy|

Okay, I just now finished reading that article. This may turn into a rant - I beg your pardon in advance.

The DOJ lawyer gave some examples to the judge of websites that contain "young looking" performers. I'm not familiar with most of them, but Sapphic Erotica is on the list, and I was quite fond of promoting it before June 23. Now, I haven't been in their members area, but they offer a buttload of promo content for affiliates. Not ONE time have I seen a girl I thought might be underage. And I'm picky about that kind of crap. They don't pose the girls with care bears and braces and that other pedo-looking stuff either. So what in the hell are they talking about??

On second thought, I will save the rant for later.

Three of those sites appear to be owned by entities located outside of the US - I certainly hope the DOJ aren't seriously considering applying this bullshit extra teritorially...

If they are that concerned about it, there are already laws in place to deal with it. Without the need for this 2257 BS.

Looking at Sapphicerotica.com it's obvious to me that many of those models were in their 20s when shot but I know the models, I have the IDs and I know when they started. We're in the business and it's easy for us to tell these things but from a stiff suit that sits in an office all day it would be hard to tell.

Personally I think it's a great site to use as an example. It's owned over seas. The content was shot over seas. The models are mostly in thier 20s and many have appearded in hardcore videos for major producers.

Even a small look into this site would show that the new regulations would have NO effect on this perfectly legal site.
