How much do you pay your LL reviewer?
 

i just hired a reviewer and she asked for 35 cents per each review.
Do you think its is high, medium or low price?

if you look at it this way ...to get gallery descriptions made up for hosted gallerys its around 10/15 cents each,
on the cheap side ...

so 35 cents for some one to check links and pics and movies on 4/5 pages is pretty good i would say |pimpin

Currently I pay in traffic, private submits and other perks.

But when I was paying someone, I would figure what the average reviews per hour would be. (About 120 reviews per hour. Based on me doing them for an hour and seeing how many I would do on average.)

Then divide a set hourly wage against the # they would do per hour.

So if you were paying someone $10/hour, they would be getting $.08 per submission.

At $.35 per submission, that submitter would be making $42/hour. That's a lot of $$$ for reviews. IMO

TIP: Find a trustworthly 20 something looking for extra money and a love for porn and you could probably get away with paying less per hour.

Most people would gladly work doing this then in fast food, or hard labor, for the same money.

Keep in mind these are TGP galleries I am talking about.

Free sites will take a lot olonger to review then galleries. Consider there are 4 pages instead of 1, all the text should be read and sometimes it takes a little time to find the gallery links and the TGP scripts weed out a lot more bull shit.

Assuming that it might take 4 times longer to review free sites then galleries then the 35 cents is right in line with Dr. B's numbers. For some reason I think free sites might take about 3 times longer though.

I have 2 reviewers
1 gets 500.00 a week and the other one gets 600.00

dam tommy you need a parttime person..

I don't pay my reviewer enough!!! I need to give myself a raise ;)

well the one that gets 600.00 is my sister in law, shes not a webmaster, doesnt know any webmasters (I like that)

and bumps gets 2k a month

but this isnt like review 20 sites and add a few of your own

2000 submits go thru the system almost every day
most are washed out by filters but there still is like 800 a day to look at

its a good 5 to 6 hours of work 5 days a week

Nothing was said about what kind of galleries. I was just using it as an example for the calculation.

Price is always subjective. The quality is the most important issue so if she is good, make sure you keep her happy...

For a link list most people will review for $20-30/day reviewing maybe 40-60 sites. That should take an hour, 2 hours per day max.

If the person is reviewing MORE than one link list they can review much faster as the second or third link list they are reviewing for are REPEAT submits. (Most submitters submit to more than one site). So a reviewer should be able to review 50-60 sites at 3 link lists in 2-3 hours.

Depending on if they have to write decriptions ect.

I like my reviewers to be depentent on this as their main source of income
their bread and butter so to speak

this way they take it seriously and its not just something they do on the side for a few extra bucks

I wish I got paid as much as tommys reviewers for reviewing my own site :p
