If you're looking at it as a long term project which it looks like you are, why not host it on your own domain?

I think I'll put the blog on my own domain. I just used Blogger after spending a day messing around with Wordpress and then finding out I needed a plugin to use pics. The plugin messed up my blog too. So I'll find a good blog script and use that.

I use wordpress and don't use a plugin for pics? Just use img src tags, or am I missing something?

I use a real simple plugin for creating thumbnails for the blog, but i also sometimes just use the img src tags.

I installed the image plugin for WP, but it doesn't give you much control over positioning etc. I actually prefer to write up my posts in DW w/image tables and all and just paste it in the WP editor.

I'll use WP again and just use img src tags. I didn't know that's all I had to do. :) I was using pre made templates and the code didn't look like regular html.
