The use of "assault" in a site title?

Anyone care to join me in a thread on that hot topic? (Hot since one of my posts has already been removed and I know they will just say its a dup so lets make a new topic here to express our disappointment shall we?)

Like all of you, I am trying to dodge the bullets thrown my way from anti porn people and we have an affiliate program, talk of the town, that does something to directly HIT our businesses.

I find it a big problem to have the word assault on a porn site. It is nothing more then a rape site.

They even go to the bother of trying to explain that women like the fantasy of being woken up to sex and then their tour speaks to the fantasy of assaulting a woman.

Call me crazy but consentual sex is still the rage.

Would'nt you agree that there is a difference between those that frequent here and those that are at GFY? Infact I don't ever go there. Post count here is low but I visit daily since its inception. GFY is for those with very little brain power. I thought this place had a little more.

By the way, there is a huge pile of people posting to me that they agree but are not wanting to disappoint gg and jim or they are not wanting to make waves. I am speaking out just because someone needs too. Every right needs a left and vice versa.

People were already expressing their opinions on the issue without creating new threads for each post. GG&Jim are well aware of my opinion, but I didn't feel the need to defame my friends to express it.

Who says I am defaming them? maybe I am disagreeing with their opinion? and maybe I am trying to get them to see my side of this?

I'll allow you to answer this one.I've had my private debate over the site in question and I won't debate it further. Posters can discuss this to their heart's content, but I will always take exception when the board's owners become the focus instead of the site itself.

As for the board owners, they know that people follow their lead. I am doing my part and hopefully people will listen. I would like to see gg or jim post that they agree with that site portfolio, if they don't do that then its about the money.

If its about the money then my initial statement stands. If they accept the site portfolio then we can debate that for a while.

Contrary to what people might think, I think that gg and jim are big boys who do not mind when people post against their opinions. I don't call standing up for my own ethics (and what I believe the industry needs to have as ethics) to be "making waves with the board owners".

According to Wikipedia the definition of assualt is basically:

"Assault is often defined to include not only violence, but any physical contact with another person without their consent".
